Dieses ehemalige Sanatorium befindet sich in einem Flusstal in Westgeorgien.
Es gibt ein subtropisches Klima, einen warmen Winter und einen warmen und feuchten Sommer.Besonders bekannt wurde das Sanatorium durch seine Schwefelwasserstoff- und Chlorid-Natrium-Mineralwässer und war in zur Sowjetzeit bekannt für die Behandlung von Haut- und Magenkrankheiten.

Trotz des desolaten Zustandes der Gebäude werden einige davon noch von den IDPs (vertriebene Personen) des Abchasienkrieges von 1991 bewohnt.

This former sanatorium is located in a river valley in western Georgia.
There is a subtropical climate, a warm winter and a warm and humid summer. Sanatroium was particularly famous for its hydrogen sulfide and chloride-sodium mineral waters and was known in Soviet times for the treatment of skin and stomach diseases.

Despite the desolate condition of the buildings, some of them are still inhabited by the IDPs (internal displaced persons) of the Abkhazian war in 1991.
